About Wingfoil
Everything you need to know about the world's fastest growing water sport.
The Story of the Wind
Although wingfoiling feels like a completely new sport, its roots stretch far back. As early as the 1980s, pioneers experimented with handheld wings, but it was not until the foil technology matured around 2018 that the pieces fell into place.
The inspiration came from a mix of windsurfing, kitesurfing, and foil surfing. The goal was to create a way to harness the wind without the need for large masts, heavy boards, or long lines — a total sense of freedom.

Wingfoil Today
Today, wingfoiling is the fastest growing water sport in the world. Technological development is moving at a rapid pace, with wings becoming lighter and foils lifting in increasingly light winds.
What makes the sport unique today is its breadth. From calm sessions on inland lakes to extreme waves on the open sea — wingfoiling has become the universal sport that unites all wind enthusiasts. At NeverDry, we are passionate about sharing this modern revolution with you.

The hardware that makes flight possible
The Wing
The wing acts as your engine. It is inflatable, lightweight, and attached only by a leash to your wrist. You control the power by simply trimming its angle to the wind.
The Board
Beginners use wide, stable boards with a lot of volume. This allows you to balance easily before gaining enough speed for the foil to lift you out of the water.
The Foil
This is the magic. The foil sits beneath the board and acts like an airplane wing in the water. It is what creates the lift that makes you glide.
Why Wingfoil?
Accessible & Effortless
Wingfoiling requires less equipment than windsurfing and can be practiced in most wind conditions. It is the perfect sport for our Swedish coastlines.

Safe & Secure
The wing is easy to handle and can be made completely powerless in a second. This makes it safe to learn, and you can always get back to shore quickly if the wind changes.
Versatile
The wing is not just for water — it works just as well on ice, snow, or land with roller skates or skateboard. A sport for absolutely any surface, year round. Everyone should have a wing ;)
Total Freedom
No heavy masts, no long lines, and no hassle. Wingfoiling gives you the freedom to surf anywhere, anytime, with equipment that fits in the back seat of a small car.
